Join librarian Ian Fraser to explore a trendy new feature of a few library databases, the AI Assistant.

After the workshop, students will be able to:

  • Identify and differentiate AI-generated summaries from human-authored text and descriptions.
  • Adopt a critical but playful attitude towards new database features, like AI Assistants.
  • Decide when such tools may be useful and when they should be ignored.
