(Online) Generative AI and Academic Research Online
Generative AI tools, like ChatGPT, are controversial in post-secondary education. On one had, they present a powerful technology for generating cohnerent text responses to your questions and prompts. One the other hand, as a student, they may compromise your learning and mastery of the subjects you're studying. There are also ethical, environmental, and social issues to consider when using genertaive AI. Join the librarians to discuss the implications of these technologies and how they might be used legitimately to support your learning.
